Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for good work footwear for landscaping. I've been using a pair of Red Wing 875 moc toes since February and they're holding up great. Recently, I got some composite toe logger boots since safety is key when dealing with heavy equipment. I've noticed some of my coworkers in cheap hiking boots or fashion styles, but they're falling apart, and one of them even got injured by a loose metal piece from the lawn mower trailer. So, I'd love to hear what you all wear to get the job done!

I’m a fan of the Thorogood 804-4327 boots. They’ve treated me well!
I've been rocking a pair of Danner 4.5” boots lately. They're super comfortable but also durable! Sometimes, I switch it up with my old sneakers for a more relaxed day. It really depends on how tough the work is that day!
Cool, thanks for sharing that!
I’m three months in with a pair of Sketchers work shoes—low profile and composite toe. They fit wide, which is awesome. Always wanted to try Red Wings but not sure if they’d be worth the investment since I can really wear down shoes fast. I usually budget around $90, and no pair has ever lasted over 8 months for me! Just recently, my Merrell jungle mocs with composite toe gave out after 6 months!
The logger boots I’m getting cost about $600. They should be solid for years, but I’ll need to replace the sole after 1-2 years and the uppers should last around 10 years. Just have to weigh the value of that against my situation!

Nice, I’ve heard good things about those!
