Hey everyone! I'm new to gardening and I'm starting my first garden this year in zone 6b, Michigan. I'm planning to grow some tomatoes and bell peppers. I've read that it's best to wait about 2-3 weeks after the projected last frost date. I'm curious if anyone has started planting theirs yet or if it's still too early?

From what I’ve experienced, once nighttime temperatures stay above 50°F, it's generally safe to plant your peppers. I had my tomatoes out when it was around the high 40s. You might want to consider your local conditions, though!
I’m in a similar climate in Massachusetts and I just planted my veggies yesterday. Fingers crossed I don’t regret it, as I hear there's a cold night coming up next weekend...!
