When can we expect a new Milwaukee miter saw?

I've been wondering if Milwaukee plans to release a new version of their 10-inch miter saw. The current model seems to have been around for about five years, and I'm curious if anyone has any insider information on this or if there are any major improvements expected.

Who knows when they’ll release the next miter saw? The table saw has been around even longer without updates. They usually don’t give a timeline unless something is imminent, but it could be next year or even five years from now!

Actually, the 10-inch miter saw came out a few years before the table saw, which just had a minor update with one key feature.

Oh, it's dropping in just 13 days, bro! Get ready!

I've got the current 10-inch saw, and I can't see much that needs improvement. It's performed excellently for me. Maybe a 12-inch version would be cool, but oh wait, they already have that! ;p

They should just make it a combo with a table saw! I'd definitely buy that if it was available in the US.

I get that it's good, but it’s been five years, so you’d think they’d have something planned for the next model.

I might be one of the few who don’t mind sticking with the 10-inch miter. It’s been fantastic for me! Everyone says it’s bad, but I just swap the Milwaukee blade for a Diablo before using it.

Honestly, other brands like Dewalt and Festool have been in the game with similar saws for years. This isn’t something like a phone where you get a yearly upgrade like the "Pro Max 2." Most improvements would probably just be gimmicks.

Exactly! What real advancements could they even add? It's already a solid tool.

Yeah, I hear you but considering how they had to drop the design in the 7/12 versions, it definitely feels like it needs a refresh.

If anyone had specific info about new releases, they probably can't share it publicly. It's all hush-hush until they’re ready to launch something.
