When is the best time to sow antirrhinums in an unheated greenhouse?

Hey everyone! I like to try something different every year with my antirrhinums, and I'm curious about your experiences. I have an unheated greenhouse and a cold frame in London. I'd prefer to sow my seeds outside rather than starting them indoors since space is tight for me. Should I go ahead and start sowing now, or is it better to wait a few weeks? Or am I stuck with starting them inside?

Antirrhinums are pretty hardy, so using your unheated greenhouse or cold frame should work just fine for sowing them. You can start now without any worries!

Thanks for the tip!

I actually germinated my antirrhinums in an unheated greenhouse a couple of months ago during winter, and they’re doing great! So you can definitely start them outside if you feel ready.

We had an antirrhinum that self-seeded in our south-facing flower bed last year, so they seem to adapt well to different conditions. If your area has mild winters, you should be good to go!
