Hey everyone! I'm wondering if it's time to start bringing my plants in from the back porch since the overnight temperatures are dropping into the 40s. It feels more like October than September! I have a lemon tree, fiddle leaf, Monstera, avocado, olive tree, jade plant, snake plant, string of pearls, bird of paradise, and a coffee plant. What do you all think? Is it too early or just the right time?

It might be a good idea to start bringing them in! Those temperatures can be tough on them, especially if it drops lower. Remember that some plants are hardier than others, so assess what you have and what can handle the chill!
I’m in Michigan and it’s been super cold at night - we had several nights in the 40s just last week. I brought most of my plants inside because I was worried about them. Last year I kept them out until mid-October, but this year it just feels too chilly already. Better safe than sorry!
I hear you! I'm in the same boat and started bringing mine in too. Checking the weather made me nervous, so I figured it was best to get them indoors.

Totally! And some of those tropical plants like the bird of paradise definitely need the warmth.
