When Should I Repot My Blueberry Plants?

I'm planning to get some young blueberry plants soon, they're ranging between 1 to 2 gallons. I'm wondering if it would be alright to repot them directly into a larger 25-gallon container as a permanent home to avoid future upsizing. Should I wait until late summer or early fall for this, or is it safe to do it in spring before summer sets in? I've searched but couldn't find much information on this topic.

When exactly should I size up to something like a 25-gallon pot? What size should I go up to in between? I've got three blueberry plants on my hands: one pink lemonade that's 2 gallons and two others that are 1 gallon each. How long is this going to take before they’re ready for that big pot, and when can I expect them to start producing fruit?

It's a good idea to repot gradually rather than jumping straight to a big pot. Going big right away can lead to issues like root rot and makes it tougher to manage the plant. Stick to smaller pots for now, it'll be easier to handle as the bush grows, and will help with watering too! Plus, you won’t have to struggle with a massive pot later on.
