Hey everyone! I recently planted about 20 kudzu seeds throughout my neighborhood and in various parts of my city. With the good amount of rain and sunlight we're getting lately, I'm curious to know when I might see them start to sprout. I planted them on May 3rd in nine different spots, and I've even built a temporary greenhouse for them. Any advice would be appreciated!

It's interesting that you chose kudzu. Just be aware that it's considered invasive in many areas! It's great that you're trying to green up public spaces, but just be cautious about how it might spread once it gets going. Did you have a specific reason for choosing it over other plants?
Kudzu can take some time to establish, but typically, you should start seeing sprouts within 2 to 3 weeks if conditions are right. Given that you planted them on May 3rd, keep an eye out for any signs of growth as we approach mid-May! Just make sure your greenhouse is maintaining the right moisture and temperature levels for them.
That sounds about right! I’ve seen them pop up in similar time frames, especially in warm weather. Good luck!
Yeah, kudzu can take over pretty quickly. I just hope it works well for what you're trying to achieve!
