I recently bought a 3/8 stubby impact wrench and I'm looking to get a 43-piece impact socket set that works with it. Unfortunately, I missed a great sale on the Quinn set where it was 40% off for $60. Now I'm seeing that the 43-piece set is out of stock at Harbor Freight. Does this mean I shouldn't expect it to go on sale again this year? Also, does anyone know when the next sale for impact sockets at Harbor Freight is? If it's not coming soon, I might just settle for the Quinn set, as I think those sockets will be similar in size, just missing some extensions.

It sounds like they often extend their parking lot sales to the next weekend, so keep your eyes peeled! I got my sockets during one of those sales, and they were practically begging people to buy more. The Quinn impact sockets are a solid choice; I'd say they’re one of the best values at Harbor Freight, alongside their pliers. Just a heads up, though, I'd steer clear of the Icon swivel sockets—they're pricey and have a reputation for failing in torque tests.
Yeah, Quinn is definitely a great value compared to Icon and Pittsburgh. The Icon stuff seems overpriced unless you catch it on sale. I’ve found Gearwrench and Tekton often offer better deals than Icon.

Which specific set do people usually put in the thin packout with the organizer and the M12 stubby? I'm new to this and want to try it!
