I'm in the Midwest, and the temperatures are going to be in the low 70s this week. Is this a good time to move my hostas? I've never done this before and really don't want to kill them!

I usually move or divide my hostas in spring as they start sprouting since that’s the easiest time. But they’re tough plants, so moving them now works too! Just make sure to prune back any damaged foliage after the move.
In my experience, hostas are pretty forgiving! Now is actually a good time to move them as long as it’s not during a heatwave. Just make sure to water them well, especially if it’s dry out. They'll settle in just fine!
I’ve left my hostas in the ground all year round in the Midwest. They go dormant in winter and come back in spring no problem. If you’re just relocating them within your yard, you should be alright! Just consider moving them when it’s nice and cool at night to help their roots settle before it freezes.
