When’s the Best Time to Water My Plants?

Hey everyone! With the current weather, I know this question might be a bit overdone, but I'm really curious about the best time to water my plants. I usually do it in the evening, but I've heard that morning watering is better. If I decide to water in the morning, what's a good time to do it? Should it be before sunrise, say around 6 AM, or is before 10 AM ideal? I'm tempted to just water them now as a quick fix!

I've always thought watering in the evening was best. It gives the plants all night to absorb the water and be ready for photosynthesis come morning. But I could be wrong!

Interesting perspective! I do evening watering too, but I've heard that mornings reduce issues like slugs and fungal diseases.

Evening watering works for me, especially since morning watering can lead to evaporation. But if you've missed a few days, just water whenever you can!

Thanks for the tip! I think I’ll stick to evenings myself.

I find evening watering very therapeutic and it's a nice way to wind down after a long day. However, I guess early morning is ideal so the water soaks in before the sun gets too hot.

6 or 7 AM sounds like a solid plan! The midday heat can really zap moisture.
