Hey everyone! I'm located in the South East and I'm really eager to get my dahlias planted outside because they're taking over my living space! They're getting pretty big, but I'm wondering if it's still too early in the season to move them outdoors? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think you’ll be fine! I left mine in the ground all winter and they’re thriving now, albeit not as big as last year when I kept them indoors. Just make sure to harden them off first, but if you’d be really upset about losing them, it might be safer to wait until you've got good weather with no frost in sight.
I’m in the same situation! I planted some tubers a few weeks ago, and they’re doing well. I actually keep my seedlings in a mini greenhouse and will be planting them out this weekend. Good luck with yours!
In the midlands, I started hardening mine off around this time. Just yesterday, I planted them! It's often recommended to wait until nighttime temps hit about 10 degrees, but dahlias are surprisingly resilient and can handle a bit of cold. You should be good to go soon!
