I'm new to the plant hobby and looking to expand my collection without breaking the bank. Besides the usual stores, are there any other places where I can buy plants at a cheaper price? Also, I'd love recommendations for where to get pot holders or anything else I might need.

Facebook Marketplace can be a goldmine for inexpensive cuttings and plants in your area. Plus, you can order cheap clear nursery pots from Amazon to pot them—it's a nice way to save some cash while you get started! You can always dress them up later with decorative pots if you want.
I usually grab my plants from Walmart. They have a section with small plants that cost around $5-$7. I just repot them into bigger containers at home, and they grow so fast! And don't forget to check the clearance section—I’ve scored some plants half off that just needed a little TLC to thrive again!
Costco has some great deals on plants! I've bought a bunch there, and they're typically really healthy and well-priced. Definitely worth checking out! ?

Great tip about the clearance section! I've had luck there too, just have to give them some love afterward.
