I'm looking to give some old furniture a nice shellac finish, and I've heard that making your own shellac can help achieve a better control over the finish. Does anyone have suggestions on where to buy shellac flakes at a reasonable price?

Check out shellac.net! I've noticed that often in woodworking, the sketchier the website, the better the products turn out to be. The prices there are pretty decent too.
