I'm diving into more woodworking projects that require butcher block oil, but I'm frustrated that local hardware stores only stock small 12 oz bottles. I see larger 128 oz bottles available on Amazon, but I really want to avoid shopping there. Does anyone know where I can find food-safe mineral oil in larger quantities, whether online or in physical stores?

Instead of Amazon, try finding a brand's website that you like and buy directly from them. They might have larger sizes available that you can’t find elsewhere.
Walmart usually has mineral oil for around $2 a bottle. It’s worth checking their stock; sometimes they carry larger sizes that could work for you.
You might want to check out farm and feed stores. They sometimes carry food-safe mineral oil for animal use, but just make sure it’s the right kind. Pharmacies also stock it, though they tend to have smaller bottles. You could also look into online pharmacies or supply stores for larger quantities.

Great tip about pharmacies! I’ve noticed they often sell it cheaper as a laxative, which is essentially the same mineral oil you need for projects.
