Where Can I Find Good Woodworking Tutorials for Beginners?

Hey everyone! I'm really interested in starting some woodworking projects at home, but I find myself feeling overwhelmed and hesitant because I'm not quite sure where to begin. I've heard that Ted's tutorials might not be legit, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some genuine alternative tutorials that offer similar features and guidance. My goal is to tackle small projects like a bench seat—nothing too ambitious yet!

Spend some time watching channels like Jon from Lincoln Street Woodworks or David from Make Something. They walk you through everything from basic projects to more complex designs. As a tip, always have a plan before starting a project and remember to take breaks if you feel frustrated!

I suggest starting with simpler projects like a birdhouse or a step stool. These items provide great practice without overwhelming you. Also, it's all about finding something you really want and can manage with your tools. Just remember, your first projects won't be perfect, and that's okay! The goal is to finish them and learn from any mistakes along the way.

I like the idea of starting small! I guess I just have to dive in and not worry too much about perfection.
