Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for melamine longer than 8 feet for a home project I'm working on. I've done a little searching online, but I haven't found much. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can order this? I know it might require a special order. We're using it to form our countertops and I'd really like to avoid having a seam in the long piece.

Some specialty lumber sheet companies offer products up to 96 inches, but it might be tricky to buy as a regular consumer. You could also consider calling a few larger shop supply companies as they might have what you need.
If all else fails, you could always butt two pieces of melamine together by beveling where they meet. You'd just need to screw a block spanning the seam on the outside of the form, and use silicone to fill in the v-notch on the inside. Just a thought!
If you're having trouble finding that length, you might consider using laminate instead. I've had good luck finding 12-foot laminate sheets, which could work for your project too!
Check out local commercial cabinet supply companies. They typically carry larger sheets, and if there's a builder's supply store nearby, they can probably order it from their vendors for you. Here's a link to one that sells white melamine: https://plyco.com.au/products/white-melamine-particleboard?variant=43728117399781.
Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to look into that.

Yup, I've already thought about that! It's frustrating because our countertop is 99 inches, and shortening it isn't really an option due to our dishwasher placement.
