Where can I find or make a single-piece wooden circle for food use?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a thin, circular piece of untreated wood that's made from a single piece. I really need it for food contact, so I can't use anything with adhesives or finishes. I've been shopping around but only finding those layered, laser-cut baltic birch circles, which won't work for me. The specific size I'm looking for is about 5.5" in diameter and 1/8" thick, although I'm open to suggestions if you think a different thickness would fare better against warping. Also, I don't have any woodworking tools, but I'm happy to hire someone to make it if needed. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out Amazon; they usually have a variety of wooden circles available. Just be sure to read the descriptions for that untreated wood you need!

I did a quick search for "wood disk" and found tons of options! Just make sure to go with at least a 1/4 inch thickness if you want to reduce the risk of warping. But honestly, since you’re going to use it for hot food and subject it to moisture, it’s likely to crack over time no matter what you choose really.
