I've been procrastinating on getting new blinds because I'm completely lost on what to buy or where to get them. I refuse to hire a company for this! My current blinds are standard horizontal ones, but they're in terrible condition. The headrail needs replacing too, though I think the brackets are still good. I'm looking for new blinds that are around 85" wide and I want to know where I can buy replacements without hiring someone. Any suggestions?

Ordering online is the way to go! Just remember to measure your windows at least three times before you buy. Also, look at whether you need custom blinds or if standard sizes will work. Try to find a middle ground in price; avoid the cheapest and the priciest options.
Just a heads up, you might have trouble finding blinds that fit your existing brackets since styles change frequently. It's worth keeping in mind as you shop!
You might want to check out Blinds.com. I ordered from them and they made the whole process super easy and they install like a breeze!

Yeah, that's what I thought might happen. I guess I should be ready to measure and see what fits.
