I'm trying to find netting sold by the yard to block bugs from my small apartment porch, which measures about 10x5x10. Living next to a bug-infested field in the summer means I need something effective yet breathable for my plants. I had a fabric that I liked from Joann's, but with their stores closing, I'm uncertain where to get it now. I'd prefer not to shop at big-name retailers, and unfortunately, there aren't many small shops nearby. Are there any reliable online sellers where I can order netting by the yard? Thanks for any advice!

I used some sheer curtains from IKEA, which were super affordable at around $3 each. They've worked great for my garden setup. You might want to check if they have similar options for your porch!
I've been exploring this too! One thing to consider is how you plan to water your plants with the netting. Do you lift it, or can you water through it? I use tulle from Joann's and just water through it when using a sprayer. If you’re lifting, that’s easy too. I’ve heard Joann’s is sticking around until April, so you might still find options there!

Yeah, I just lift mine whenever I need to water with a bucket. Tulle is pretty easy to work with, and it doesn't seem to affect the plants at all!
