I'm diving into wood turning but I'm also passionate about environmental issues, especially regarding hardwood sourcing. I'm looking for the best places to find cool-looking hardwood that is sustainably sourced, ideally reclaimed wood. Any tips?

You might want to reach out to local farms that have had trees fall during storms. It’s a natural source since the trees come down without needing to chop them down yourself!
If you're really serious, you're gonna want to search locally. We can't really suggest specific places since everyone’s in different areas, but it’s worth checking out local sources.
Have you thought about checking thrift stores or second-hand furniture shops? You can often find old furniture made of quality wood, which you could repurpose for your projects.
