Where can I find vintage Record irons from before the 1950s?

I'm on the hunt for an old Record iron, specifically one made before the mid-1950s with straight sides, to use on my No. 06 for cambering. I'm located in Spain, Europe, and would love suggestions on where to look beyond eBay.

Are you checking out the UK eBay site? There are tons of listings that might be restricted to England. I’ve had luck messaging sellers to see if they’ll ship internationally.

There's a European site, ducotools.nl, where you can find various old tools. I’ve ordered several items from them, although I had some trouble with the English version of the site and had to switch to the Dutch version for my orders to go through. They also have spare parts!

Check out vintage tool shops online; I've had good luck finding parts that way. Oddly enough, using Google Image Search for specific parts can lead you to some hidden gems. I've found it more fruitful than regular Google searches, but it can vary by person. Good luck with your search!

You should definitely join Rex Kruger’s Tool Trader Network at tooltrader.net. It’s a great place for buying and selling old tools. I’ve had success there, and the community is honest and friendly. Highly recommend checking it out!
