I'm pretty new to wood carving, aside from using just a knife to make a small spear or carving names into wood. I'm quite steady with my hands since I play percussion, which helps! I have a Dremel tool, blades, and some wood ready to go, but I'm not sure what to create. I cleaned up a slice of wood, but I'm lost on what to make with it. Any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated!

A great place to start is by exploring what you really want to carve! People often go for different themes like gnomes, spoons, or even animals. Try searching online for inspiration and see what catches your eye. Once you find something you like, just go for it!
