I'm trying to find circuit breakers for my battery connections because I can't seem to find any 100A fuses available nearby. I've heard about Midnite's options, but I'm unclear about the difference between polarized and non-polarized breakers. My setup includes an inverter/charger, so I'm unsure which type I should get or if it even matters. Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve got some of those Midnite breakers and they’re pretty sturdy. They feel like they can handle the 100A without breaking a sweat. About polarized breakers - as I understand it, they trip based on the direction of current. So, if you're looking at chargers, they might only work one way, which is something to keep in mind when connecting to the inverter.
Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of smaller breakers, but finding a solid 100A can be tough! I think polarized ones work well for charge controllers, but you definitely don't want them for battery to inverter connections.
