Hey everyone! I'm looking to replace some old, yellow plastic baseboard vents throughout my house. I want to switch to floor registers in a few rooms since I'm replacing the baseboards anyway. Ideally, I'm searching for stylish cast aluminum or wrought iron vents in black that have some character. The main issue is that I can't seem to find any registers in the specific size I need (3" x 18"). These measurements are for the outside of the current vents, so I assume the opening is slightly smaller. If anyone knows a manufacturer that makes less common sizes or a custom shop that's reasonably priced (I'd be fine with a simpler finish if needed), I'd really appreciate the help!

Have you tried looking for 18" baseboard registers specifically? I found several metal options just by Googling. There are quite a few sites that offer different sizes and finishes.
I’m more looking to transition to floor registers so I don’t have that clunky baseboard piece showing. That's why the size is specific!
Makes sense! You might want to check out specialty HVAC suppliers; they often have custom sizes.
