I'm on the hunt for vertical siding panels that have grooves to give the appearance of vertical planks. I've come across Hardie Sierra models and Allura, but I can't seem to track down where to buy the Hardie panels in 10' height here in Houston. The Allura panels are available at $78 per sheet, which feels pretty pricey. Has anyone had luck sourcing vertical siding in Texas?

You might want to consider using regular 8' panels for the top and bottom, then add a horizontal board in the middle. Cut an 8' panel into pieces for the bottom to finish it off. If done right, it can look really good without the need for a continuous 10' height.

I’m a bit skeptical about that approach. With my building height being 19’6”, I worry the gaps might stand out too much. Wouldn't it be better to go with two 10' panels for a cleaner look?
