I'm based in Wayne County, Northeast Pennsylvania, and I'm looking for recommendations on where to purchase wood. I've checked out a few lumber supply companies and wood lots nearby but mostly found pine, with a bit of oak and birch. As I'm fairly new to woodworking, I'd appreciate any suggestions on where to source a wider variety of wood for my projects!

I've had pretty good luck with Facebook Marketplace! You'll find a mix of sellers but since we have so much forest in the area, many people have access to logs and home mills. Just make sure to check reviews if you can!
What exactly are you looking for? If you're open to different types, maybe consider walnut, cherry, or maple. Those woods can really elevate your projects!
