I'm trying to restore my garden soil after using inorganic fertilizers that seemed to harm the earthworm population. I've switched to using organic fertilizers, like chicken manure, but the soil is still very dense. I'm wondering if purchasing earthworms might help aerate the soil and bring it back to life. Any suggestions on where I can buy them?

Honestly, buying worms might not be the best approach. If you improve your soil with plenty of organic matter, you'll likely see more worms naturally popping up. They thrive in healthy soil, so just focusing on that might be enough! Plus, the worms you’d find in your garden are not the same as compost worms, so it's a bit tricky.
