I'm trying to decide between Forge batteries and High Output (HO) batteries. Can anyone share their thoughts on which would be better for my tools? What are the pros and cons of each?

In my experience, when comparing a 6.0 HO to an 8.0 Forge, the Forge stays cooler and doesn't cut out like the HO under load. If you're using high-drain tools like grinders or saws, the Forge is a clear winner. The HO batteries might be better for lighter tasks, but the Forge batteries really shine when things get tough.
A lot of people find that Forge batteries are superior overall, especially for heavy-duty applications. They have better heat management and can last longer thanks to their improved design. However, whether the extra cost is justified really depends on what tools you're using them with.
Exactly, it all boils down to what tasks you're tackling!
It's really about your specific needs. For tools that demand a lot of power, Forge batteries are definitely the way to go. They provide consistent power output and handle heat better. If you just need something reliable for lighter tasks, HO batteries could do just fine, but they might not hold up under heavier usage as well as Forge.
Right, and that consistent power makes a noticeable difference when you're really working them hard.

I've noticed the same thing! The Forge seriously packs a punch!
