I'm looking for a compact table saw for home use since I'm tight on storage and don't have a dedicated workshop. I usually set up some folding DEWALT tables in my garage to work on projects. The two main options I'm considering are the DEWALT 7485 8.25" Jobsite Table Saw and the SKIL 10" Jobsite Table Saw. The SKIL saw has a larger blade and a folding stand, while the DEWALT seems more compact overall. I'd love to hear any thoughts or suggestions on which one to go for!

If your budget is around $300, you might want to check Facebook Marketplace for a used DEWALT 10" saw. That said, the DEWALT 8.25" has solid quality and will last a long time. While it might limit your cutting size, it’ll provide a better long-term investment as you develop your woodworking skills compared to the SKIL. Just my two cents!
Consider the DEWALT 10" or a Sawstop compact saw if you can. Just keep in mind those might be more than what you're looking to spend.
True, but isn’t both of those options priced above what he mentioned for his budget?
I've been using the SKIL 10" for about two years, and I have to say, I’m really happy with it. The extra blade capacity comes in handy, especially when using a crosscut sled or angling the blade. For the price, I definitely recommend it!
Exactly, with the budget mentioned, they might not be the best fit.
