Hey everyone! Thanks to your suggestions last time, I've decided to plant a rowan and a crabapple at the end of my garden. But I've realized there are just so many crabapple varieties out there! I came across some info saying that while natives are typically preferred, hybrids can also be really beneficial for wildlife, giving me plenty of options. I'm particularly interested in larger types that offer maximum seasonal interest. Can anyone recommend a crabapple variety they love? I really appreciate your gardening wisdom!

If you're looking for vibrant color, Malus Scarlett is a fantastic choice! For jellies, try Jelly King or Butterball. If you want something more compact, Admiration or Aros are great smaller options.
Evereste is another solid pick. It's absolutely covered in blossoms and keeps its fruit late into the season, which looks stunning against the frost.
One of my favorites is Rudolph—it's a stunner but quite large, growing up to about 5 meters in 7 years. The blossoms and leaf colors are just gorgeous!
Rudolph really is beautiful! I love how it transforms with the seasons.

That sounds perfect for winter interest! Thanks for the tip!
