I've recently acquired three different versions of the DCD805 drill, and I'm trying to decide which two models I should hold onto. Here's what I've got: 1. DCD805 (2025) "Perform Protect" 2. DCD805 (2022) "Brushless Motor" 3. DCD85M (McLaren Limited Edition) "Brushless Motor". Can anyone tell me if there's any significant functional difference between these models?

The DCD805 (2025) has a neat anti-rotation feature designed to protect your wrist in case the bit gets stuck. As for the McLaren edition, some folks really don’t like it—I've heard jokes that it should just be disposed of!

Haha, good to know! Those McLaren drills were priced to sell—like $200 for the drill, two 5Ah batteries, and a charger! I'm just glad I managed to sell most of my stuff before the prices dropped.
