I'm using the DeWalt 20V Max Brushless Cordless Orbital Sander model DCW210B and I'm trying to figure out which battery would be best to buy. Should I go for the 5Ah or the 4Ah? Is there much of a difference in performance or runtime, or does it not really matter?

If you're looking for more runtime, the 5Ah battery is definitely the way to go. You won't really notice a performance difference, but you'll get a lot more use out of it before needing to recharge.
Honestly, I prefer using smaller batteries like the 2Ah because they’re lighter and easier to handle. I keep a stash of four of them, and that usually lasts me over an hour. When I'm done, I'm definitely okay with calling it a day!

I hear you! Those bigger batteries can get heavy after a while.
