Which Drill Should I Choose: DCF860 or DCF850?

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new drill and usually use cheap DCF885 impacts for work, which have held up pretty well. I'm considering upgrading to either the DCF860 with an 8 amp battery for $369 CAD or the DCF850 bare tool for $150 since I already have batteries. Does anyone have insights on whether the DCF860 is a good deal or if I should just go for the 850?

Honestly, the DCF850 should be more than enough for most tasks unless you really need the highest specs. It’s a solid tool!

I love my DCF860 and the 8AH battery combo! It’s awesome, but I usually don’t use them together. My 5AH battery works perfectly fine too, just depends on what you need it for.

If you're in Canada, check out Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji! I snagged an 850 for just $70 from a pawn shop recently. Just make sure to test it first!
