I'm trying to decide between a Milwaukee or a Ryobi fan for my needs. I already own a bunch of Milwaukee M12 tools and have several M18 products like a string trimmer and blower. I need a fan that's versatile for general use around the house and shed, as well as for outdoor work when I'm doing repairs on my rental properties. Most importantly, I want it for those super hot days when I'm in the dugout during baseball games. Just to note, I don't have any Ryobi tools at the moment. Any recommendations?

If you're considering options, the Hercules fan is pretty decent as well. It goes for around $25 and while the price fluctuates, you might find a good deal on places like eBay or local markets.
The Ryobi whisper fan is a solid choice, too. It's super affordable and quiet. Plus, if you ever need to move it around, it's light enough that you won't have to worry about it getting lost.
I have both the Ryobi and the Milwaukee fans and I can say the Packout M18 Milwaukee fan is superior thanks to its variable speed settings. It also plugs in using a standard extension cord, unlike the Ryobi which has a 3-speed option and needs a power brick.

That's a good point about the Packout. I like having more control over the fan speed!
