I'm planning to run several lag bolts soon and I'm trying to figure out whether to use the DeWalt 860 or the 911 for the job. Does anyone have recommendations on which one is better for this kind of task?

It really depends on the size of the lag bolts you're using. If they're larger, be careful with the 860's 1/4" drive; it might snap. The 911 has a 1/2" drive and should be able to handle bigger ones without any issue.
I'd go with the 860 for sure! It's powerful enough for the job and you won't have to lug around two different tools. Just let that thing stretch its legs and it'll handle the lag bolts just fine.

I'm using bolts up to 6 inches. Which one do you think would be safest to use?
