I'm trying to decide between a pedestal sink and a vanity for my half bathroom. The space is large enough for a vanity, but I'm curious about what others think regarding style and aesthetics. Which would you prefer?

I definitely vote for a vanity! It offers some much-needed storage for toiletries and other necessities, which can be super handy in a bathroom. Plus, they can look really stylish!
Floating vanities are awesome if you're looking for a modern touch! Even having just a drawer can make a big difference in a small space. It keeps things looking clean and organized!
Style matters too! If your home has a specific aesthetic, try to match it with the bathroom design. That said, I lean toward vanities for the extra storage. Pedestal sinks can look more open but aren't as functional in my experience.

Totally agree! Having lived with both, I appreciate the open feel of pedestal sinks, but the clutter-free storage from vanities is a game changer!
