I'm curious about people's preferences between Lowe's and Home Depot when it comes to buying plants. Which store do you think is better and why?

Honestly, I think both stores have their issues. They tend to throw out a lot of plants that don’t sell, which feels like a waste. I'd suggest checking out local sellers when possible instead of always relying on these big chains.

That's a good point! Supporting local sellers is always a great move.

For me, it's all about the variety! Home Depot has a better selection during winter months, but I really appreciate Lowe's clearance racks and their unique offerings like carnivorous plants. I keep going back hoping they'll have new interesting plants.

Totally! I once found sundews at Lowe's and it got me hooked. I go back all the time hoping for more!

I definitely lean towards Lowe's! Their plants usually look healthier compared to what I've seen at Home Depot. Plus, they have a nice clearance section where they discount plants that aren't doing so well, so you can snag some deals.

That clearance is a lifesaver! I've picked up so many plants just because they were on sale!
