Which is Better for Yard Work: Two 8Ah Batteries or One 12Ah Battery?

I'm working on some yard work with power tools and I'm trying to decide between using two 8Ah batteries or a single 12Ah battery. Right now, I only have the 5Ah and 6Ah batteries, so I'm looking for advice on what would be more practical for regular household tasks.

For typical homeowner yard work, two 8Ah batteries give you a lot of flexibility. I frequently use mine for a blower and trimmer, and I hardly ever run out of juice—they're more than enough for my needs.

If you need something for heavy-duty tasks, then maybe a 12Ah would be worth considering, but for light yard work, the smaller batteries are perfect and more convenient to manage.

I'd go with the two 8Ah batteries. They’re lighter, which makes them easier to handle, and you can charge one while using the other. It's all about maintaining a steady workflow without waiting too long for a recharge.

Totally agree! For tasks like using a leaf blower or string trimmer, the 8Ah batteries work great and usually last me through the job without needing a swap.
