Which is Better: Organic Compost or Mushroom Compost?

I'm about to order compost and manure in bulk and I'm torn between standard organic compost and spent mushroom compost. Also, should I go for mixed farmyard manure or horse manure, both of which are well-rotted? If you've got any tips on suppliers, I'd really appreciate that since I've never ordered in bulk before. Thanks in advance!

If you're leaning towards organic, then definitely go with organic compost. But honestly, I've been using mushroom compost from a local supplier, and I’ve had great results. Just be cautious when ordering in bulk—my first order from Wickes was horrible; I ended up with bits of glass and plastic in it! Stick to smaller, local companies if you can, they often have better quality.

I've had a tough time finding a good supplier locally too! Right now, I'm looking at one called topsoilshop online. So when you say organic, it just means it’s made of organic material, right? I don't really go for organic stuff in my diet, so it sounds like mushroom compost might be a good call!
