I'm looking to upgrade my tool collection, and I've heard great things about Milwaukee. Can anyone recommend the best drill and impact driver set? I've done some research, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on particular models that stand out.

The M18 Fuel set (model 3697-22) is their latest full-size offering. It comes with both a 2.0 and 5.0Ah battery, which is perfect if you don’t need the bigger 2x5XC or 2x3HO batteries. If you’re doing a lot of work with heavy drilling, especially in framing with 2x4s, the M18 is definitely the way to go. However, if you're more focused on lighter tasks and need something less bulky, the M12 Fuel set (model 3497-22) is also a solid choice!
Don’t overlook the M18 compact setup! I use it as a carpenter, and it strikes a nice balance between power and weight. It’s less cumbersome than the full-size models, making it great for those who need something more manageable without sacrificing too much on performance.
