I'm considering getting one of the Milwaukee inflators and I'm torn between the M12 and M18 models. I mainly need it for topping off my vehicle tires every now and then, not for full inflations or off-roading. I already have both M12 and M18 batteries, so I could choose either one. Is the M18 really worth it, or is it overkill for my needs?

If you're just looking to top off tires, I think the M12 is a solid choice. It's compact and gets the job done. That said, the M18 definitely speeds things up – I’ve found it takes about a third of the time to use compared to the M12. Plus, the M18 holds its battery life much better for more frequent tasks.
Both inflators are great! The M18 is noticeably quicker with a longer hose, making it easier for harder-to-reach areas. However, the M12 is more stable and less likely to tip over if you're using it on uneven ground. I personally use my M12 all the time for work; it’s handy for filling up tires quickly wherever I go!
Honestly, if you just need something for occasional top-offs, the M12 should be just right for you. It’s portable and easy to store. But if you find yourself dealing with larger vehicles or inflating more often, the M18 is a beast and much faster. Just don’t forget the quick connect adapter to make it easier to attach!
