Hey everyone! I'm trying to choose between two potting mixes for my succulents: Molly's Succulent Mix and the Succulent & Cactus Soil Mix by Perfect Plants. Has anyone tried these? I'd love to hear your thoughts on which one is better!

I’ve been using Molly's for a few months and I’m a fan! It seems to work well for my jade plants, but I do make sure not to overwater. Just gotta know your plants!

Yeah, it's all about the right balance, isn't it? Each plant has its own needs, for sure.

I've got to say, I prefer the Succulent & Cactus Soil Mix by Perfect Plants. It's really helped keep my plants healthy and thriving. Plus, I noticed less root rot since switching! Definite win for me.

I've used both mixes, and I would say it depends on your specific plants. Molly's has a softer texture and holds moisture a bit better, which is great for certain succulents. On the other hand, Perfect Plants' mix is more gritty, making it suitable for plants that prefer drier conditions. If your succulents are really sensitive to overwatering, I’d lean towards Perfect Plants.

That's a good point! I've also noticed that some succulents thrive in a grittier mix. Maybe just try a small batch of each?
