Who Should I Hire to Install Door Handles?

I'm looking to install a complete door handle system in a few of my doors. The doors and frames are already in place, but they don't have any handles, so they can't actually close! I'm not sure who to hire for this—would I need a carpenter, a joiner, or someone else? Any recommendations would be super helpful!

If the holes for the handles are already cut in the doors, it's a pretty straightforward job. You can just grab a good quality handle kit from a hardware store, and it usually comes with easy-to-follow instructions. You might even want to try doing it yourself to save some cash! But if you're not comfortable, a friend or a handyman can handle it easily since it doesn't require much skill. However, if you need to hang a new door, then definitely hire a carpenter to do that right.

Totally agree! As long as the holes are already there, it should be a breeze. If not, there are kits that make drilling new holes super easy, so don’t stress over it!
