Hey everyone, I recently got a Milwaukee chainsaw, model M18 FUEL 16 in. 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Battery, and while it's a solid tool, I found it really tough to cut down a tree with a 5" diameter and 20-25' height. I've seen pics of people effortlessly taking down trees over 20" in diameter, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just me as a beginner. Any tips?

It sounds like your chain might be dull. Make sure to keep it away from the dirt because that can really wear it down fast! A sharp chain makes a huge difference in performance.
Technique is important! When you cut, you should try to create a wedge on one side before making the final cut. If you just go straight across from both sides, it might not be as effective. Some people have their own methods, but a little strategy can make a big impact!

Yeah, I usually try to do a wedge too. Seems to help the tree fall where I want it to!
