Why Are My Mini Bell Peppers Not Producing?

Hey fellow plant lovers! I need some advice on my Bonnie gypsy mini bell pepper plant. Despite the blooms continually dropping off without producing any peppers, the plant looks healthy and keeps flowering. I've been helping the pollination process using Q-tips, my fingers, and even an electric toothbrush. It's planted in a deep (2 feet) and wide (4 feet) container with great drainage, sitting in a sunny area. Nearby, my cherry and Better Boy tomatoes are thriving, so I'm not worried about light levels. I've also been fertilizing it every few weeks with the all-purpose Miracle-Gro shake. Since I'm in Georgia but the plants are indoors near large windows with plenty of sunlight, I'm puzzled about what's going wrong. Last year, I had a great harvest with my tomatoes, so I guess I got a bit too ambitious trying something new this year! I'm looking forward to your tips!

It sounds like your peppers might be experiencing heat stress, especially if Georgia is going through a heatwave. Since they're indoors, maybe try to provide some shade during the hottest parts of the day? It could help keep them from dropping those blooms!

I just watched a related video and thought the same! The temp inside is pretty consistent since they're indoors, but those windows can get super warm. They're not wilting or anything, but I’ll try moving them for some midday shade. Thanks for the tip!
