I've read that south-facing windows are considered the best for plant growth, but my plants in a west-facing window are absolutely thriving! Meanwhile, the ones in the south-facing windows seem to be losing color and struggling to grow. I'm really confused about this difference. Should I consider moving my plants around again to put more in that west-facing window? Any advice would be appreciated!

That's interesting! I've noticed that different species can react very differently to light sources. It's great that you're testing things out; maybe it’s just a better environment for them in that spot. If you're seeing positive results, it might be worth rearranging your space to maximize that sunlight!
It really can depend on the type of plants you have, your local climate, and other environmental factors like humidity and light exposure. It seems like your plants might just prefer the conditions in your west-facing window, which is totally valid! Sometimes it's all about finding the right spot for each plant. Keep experimenting and see what works best for them!
