I recently planted two packets of nasturtium seeds around my garden border, but only three plants popped up and they're not flowering. They're really tall and leggy, plus pests have been munching on the leaves. I'm wondering what went wrong with my planting!

I feel you! My nasturtiums struggled last year too but bloomed beautifully this time. Sometimes plants just have their own timelines, and it can be weird from year to year.
It’s pretty common for nasturtiums to get hit by pests like aphids, especially since they're often used as trap plants. This year has been weird weather-wise, so your plants might just be having a tough time getting started. You probably didn’t do anything wrong!
Nice tip—sometimes I take a bit of the seed covering off or soak them before planting them. This year, I didn’t plant any and I’ve got them popping up everywhere from dropped seeds. Volunteers are the best!
Haha, I love a good volunteer plant!

Yeah, I definitely planted them as traps to attract pests, so it’s no surprise they're getting nibbled!
