Why aren’t my new LED tubes turning on after replacing fluorescent ones?

I recently swapped out the fluorescent tubes in my kitchen, which were Philips F40T12 (40 Watt), with LED tubes from Feit Electric that are direct replacements (Type A). I thought I could avoid replacing the ballast, but now the new LED tubes won't turn on. I've checked the breakers, and they're not tripped, so I'm stumped. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Could you share the exact model of the bulbs you bought? That might help in figuring out the issue.

I’ve been there before! When I switched to LED tubes, I found they overheated and turned off after a while. I ended up going back to fluorescent ones I bought online. I later learned that for some LEDs, you need to bypass the ballast to get them working. Type A, though, should be easy and just plug right in without modifications! Just something to keep in mind if you try another set in the future.

Just to clarify, Type A tubes like yours are supposed to be plug-and-play, so you shouldn’t need to bypass the ballast. That’s typically required for Type B tubes.
