Why can't I find replacement garage doors at Lowe's or Home Depot?

My garage door is on its last legs, and I've been searching for a replacement. It's frustrating because I can't seem to find any options at Lowe's or Home Depot unless I go through a specialty garage door company, which charges a pretty penny. I've installed garage doors before, so I know I can handle the work myself—this is in Tampa, Florida, by the way.
