Why Did All My Dewalt 20V Batteries Die?

I've got 10 Dewalt 20V max batteries, but over the last month, they all except one have stopped working. I've used Dewalt batteries for years without any issues, not even with the older 18V models, so I'm pretty confused. Has anyone experienced this before or have ideas on what might be going on?

How many chargers do you have? Could it be that just one or two chargers might be causing the problem? And have all the batteries seen similar usage?

I only have one charger, and the batteries haven't been used a lot since I just dabble with my tools.

Hey! When you say they all died, do they still show any charge? Are the indicators working? It might help to figure out if it’s a charging issue or something else.

The chargers work fine, but the batteries just won't charge at all. It's weird.

Just curious, do you let them run completely dead and then leave them sitting for a while? That can really mess with battery lifespans!

Also, have you picked up any new tools lately that aren't Dewalt? Sometimes mixed-brand tools can cause issues with battery compatibility, especially if they’re paired battery tools.
